Japanese Kutani akae /red style brush pot with decorated panels with scenes of birds, flowers and a small country hut. The brush pot measures 4 1/4 diameter by 5” high. The pot has a trio of bamboo shaped feet. It is in good condition with no repairs or chips. There is light crazing. Artist signed Kutani. Circa 1880.
