Antique Ancient Style Bronze Chinese Temple / Shrine Vases. This exceptional pair of antique, ancient style Chinese bronze vases were cast, carved and deeply engraved with archaic designs, and then a trio of frogs were applied. There are dragon heads in swirling clouds, Lotus blossoms and other archaic symbols. The bottom is marked in the ancient way with a high relief casting depicting the Phoenix and dragon. The vases measure 6” diameter by 9” high. These were purchased at the antique department of the San Francisco Gumps store in the 1970s. Each vase weighs 3 pounds and both are in great condition.
