These beautiful Japanese celadon plates feature hand-applied enamel decoration. The flowers are done in a very thick enameling. Each scallop shell plate measures 6 3/4” diameter 1” deep. The plates are in great condition with wear only to the gold rim. Each rings like a bell when tapped and there are no chips, cracks or crazing. I do notice a worn edge or glaze loss on the rim of one plate that measures 3mm x 2mm. All of the plates are marked and signed by the artist.
