Victorian Silver Creamer , Open Sugar & Spill Bowl by James W. Tufts
This set of Victorian Era quadruple plate was made circa 1890 by the James W. Tufts Company of Boston, Massachusetts. The style gracefully depicts the era, with its scalloped edges adorned by garland and flowers. The handles continue the theme and there are additional repousse scallops that encircle the body of each piece. The set consists of a large creamer, a large open sugar and a waste bowl. This uncommon set was lovingly cared for and is in beautiful condition with no silver-plate loss showing. The sugar measures 3 ½” x 3 ½” high the width from handle-to-handle is 6 ½”. The creamer measures 4 ½ x 3” and 6” from handle to spout. The spill bowl measures 4 ½” diameter, 3” high and 7” from handle-to-handle. Pattern # 2249
