The inlaid bouquet of roses and violets adds to the many delights of this splendid c. 1840 rare English or French made box. The box rests on four delicately styled bronze ball feet. It measures 6 1/4"x 8 3/4" x 3 1/2" high and is in very good condition overall. There is a tiny area of inlay near the key hole that's missing. As astounding as it is I still have it's original key. This box is special enough to stand on it's own or be the star of your box collection.
